Gyroplane down in Colorado

Glad to see they survived,and where rescued quickly.
 
Michael Burton is my direct supervisor at Air Gyro Aviation in Spanish Fork, Utah and a very experienced CFI.
I have not talked to him yet so I don’t know the extent of his injuries or what caused the crash.
He has been flying and teaching in gyroplanes for more than 12 years without incident.
Michael and Josh were returning to Spanish Fork, Utah (U77) after visiting Telluride, Colorado (TEX) in a normally aspirated Calidus gyroplane.
I hope for a speedy recovery.
