Clicking on ‘Current Visitors’ brings up a list of guests browsing the forum and then also a list of robots online as well.

    What’s the difference?

The robots clean up after themselves and don't overstay their welcome?

The robots lack a sense of humor and make pedantic posts about logging, ratings, endorsements or similar minutiae.

I for one welcome our new robotic overlords.

Also who's not to say the robots aren't here reading and studying through our forum before they become the future automated pilots?

If that’s the case, we have a very bright future to look forward too!

As long as they don’t become self aware I’m cool with it.

I thought this thread was going to be someone asking whether or not to turn off their Roomba when company is staying at the house. LOL.

That’s right...there are currently two types of robots on the site:

    Type 1: Pilot robots
    Type 2: A&P robots

The Type 1 robots only read posts from select members on the site who have proven to be elite pilots and follow all FARs, AIM, and only use proper phraseology at all times . They have done all their training thus far in tailwheel airplanes as recommended by James. Great pilots they are really coming along nicely. They will soon be transitioning to the regionals (most likely Spirit and Allegiant).

The Type 2 robots only read posts from Tom-D or Glenn. Due to the clashing nature of Tom and Glenn, these robots have decided to split into two groups. Tom is currently hosting several “top of the class” A&P robots in his motor home. We can only hope they will treat corrosion in the correct way and ensure the proper use of alodine. The future of these robots is unclear, but I am sure they will make for great A&Ps and even better online forum warriors.
