I'm assuming we all like pretty pictures of airplanes. This was on the USCG facebook page today, and while vortices in the clouds is an old theme, this one was well done I thought.....and of course how can you go wrong with a Herc pix???

You might be right. I went to the CG site and could find no photo credit, just a quote: "To invent an airplane is nothing. To build one is something. But to fly is everything." - Otto Lilienthal. Most pictures they post have a credit such as: "Photo by PO3 Joe Jones, Group Baltimore.." etc. This one is uncredited which seems odd.

Yeah, they do that if the cloud penetrated was below the plane...

I'm not saying it is not photoshop, just clarifying that the wake as depicted is appropriate. It would be nice to see a higher resolution image. Very pretty nonetheless.
