It is logged as space flight time and is different than flight time. I know because I was awarded the USAF Space badge and there were only two ways to get it. One was direct operational support of manned space missions and the other was through space flight. The application has a section for the manned space option and in it are all the columns for space flight and terrestrial flight.

Awesome! But I guess you'd have to head up a blank column in your logbook for "spaceflight". It would be pretty cool to break that out during your next BFR, wouldn't it?

How did you support manned space missions, Scott?
