Great footage from the '07 Worlds

Not much going in this forum... so here's some excellent footage of a few 4-minute Freestyle flights from the '07 World Aerobatic Championships. The Freestyle flights allow the pilots some artistic and creative latitude, and are judged largely on impression as opposed to the strict requirements for precision associated with the flights that follow an approved sequence of figures. Lots of gyroscopic stuff that doesn't exist in the other flights. Sort of an "airshow" within the competition that is a separate program from the other competition flights.

Wow. Very amazing flying. And, since I had a chance to fly w/ Jeff in his Sukhoi 29- (we did a lomcevak to +7/-5 Gs) and some other interesting things like torque rolls, tail slides, inverted whip stall recoveries... I can only imagine the stresses on the pilots during that maneuvering.

But for now, I'll just concentrate on flying my little decathlon safely and having fun.
