Great flying day in the Big Sky yesterday

After weeks of much needed precip the weather was perfect yesterday for seeing the sights and dusting off some of the winter cobwebs. Here's a shot I took of Lake McDonald in Glacier Park.

What's your altitude there? How high are the mountains? (I live in a flat area. We have one 800-foot hill.)

I think the base elevation of the lake is a little over 3000' and the mountains in tha background rise to over 10,000'. 7,000' of verticle certainly gets your attention!
