Great Day Flying in NC

With a rented C172, I headed in land from DARE (MQI) to Edenton (EDE) south to Plymouth (PMZ) and further south to Wilmington (ILM) and Oak Island/Brunswick (SUT). With a little help from our friends at ATC, I successfully navigated the "R"s and "W" north to Beauford/Smith (MRH), Ocracoke (W95), and as darkness set in, Billy Mitchell (HSE), and homeport to DARE (MQI). Grand total flight time was 7.2 hours.
And THIS is vacation!
What a way to live.
