anybody flying out of the PHX area to Grapevine airport Saturday morning? This will be my first flight there.

I'm not, but please report back on your experience since the RAF cleaned it up. I am also curious, on the RAF website in one location it says it is open the 3rd weekend of each month, in another location it says the 4th weekend.

This shows restricted but I know it will be charted on the next charting cycle, I assume it would be charted as such.

They maintain the schedule for it as they have to provide camp hosts for those weekends it is open.
Just my personal option here... this group put a lot of blood,sweat and money into cleaning and resealing it, seems they should be allowed to use it more than 12 times a year. USFS seems to be the controlling agency for it.

Yeah, it was a good time and good food. Great group of nice people out there.
They announced that they've received the final signature to have the airstrip back on the charts. FAA will have to review and then it will be applied. Estimated to be on charts just before summer next year.
