Flying in the Berkshires this A.M. when the weather went 180 degrees off from what was being broadcast. Ceiling came down, hard and fast, instead of going up.
Go figure. A bad weather report.

At one point I thought I was going to have to pry open the left window so I could signal my turns.

No sweat. Just another day in the office.
Not sure I want to post the video.

“The Berkshires seemed dream-like on account of that frosting. With ten miles behind me, and ten thousand more to go.

There’s a song that they sing when they take to the highway, a song that they sing when they take to the sea. A song that they sing of their home in the sky, maybe you can believe it, if it helps you to sleep.”

I saw JT in concert a few years ago. I was probably 34? My wife and I were likely the youngest people at the concert that night. Always been a huge JT fan. Dang I wish I could play the guitar like him.

I didn't take you for a Justin Timberlake fan, nor did I know he played the guitar! :)

Saw an interview with him recently where he mentioned that he has fake fingernails put on every few weeks during a tour, otherwise he’d just be bleeding all the time. The fingernails are harder than typical falsies and are for doing stuff like playing guitars every night for months.

Secrets of the guitar masters that I never knew... makes sense though. Human fingernails weren’t designed for that much abuse.

He’s not a fan of using a pick.

I bet Shep already set fire to the memory drive it recoreded to and threw it into the ocean to seal the deal.

Winner. Yup. They named the boy after his uncle. They asked James to write a lullaby for him...

Was this thread about flying ?

I flew him quite a few times, along with his wife. Both super sweet people, always late, always tipped. Also met his brother Livingston, who owns (owned?) a Cessna 205.

As much as I would like to see the video, I would think that all it would take is one ******** to go whining to the FSDO - even if you did nothing wrong...

I'd love to see it but keep in mind, some internet genius will see something they think has violated a FAR and will make a phone call because it's their duty to save the NAS from you. Just be sure to have good answers to the questions if that happens. If you do post it maybe in the description something like "while the wx was worse than forecast, I maintained proper cloud clearance/visibility via the FAR's...caution images in the gopro make visibility look much worse than real life" or something in that order. If you have multiple cameras and end up a little on the low side it may be best to edit it during that time to show a different angle than your altimeter. :)

I think @SixPapaCharlie joked once something along the lines of "green screen".

You mean to tell us you have yet to destroy the evidence

Yea might be good to write it out in description if you do decide to stick it on YouTube. Maybe file an ASRS just in case. "Weather was not as forecast - Legal VFR separation was maintained throughout entire flight"
