Jesse,

Did you recently add Google-Analytics footers to some pages, or were they always there?

When I view the site at work, now, it's popping up for my NTLM authentication on every hit of POA when using Chrome, which doesn't support NTLM... that's because my office's proxy config runs us through an "authenticated proxy" for specific sites, which in this case is *.facebook.com, *.twitter.com, *.myspace.com, and... why I don't know? *.google-analytics.com.

Further analysis (viewing the proxy definition file) and new similar behavior on other sites seems to be leading me to the conclusion that you've had the google-analytics in the html for a while, and our proxy configuration has just recently changed to now require *.google-analytics.com to go through an authenticated proxy rather than an anonymous one.

Google Analytics has been in the footer since early 2008.
