Cool video. No Dave I want the plane you can have the car lol.
One question did the plane climb to 5280 ft? If so that means the plane traveled lets say 1000 ft on the ground then climbed another 5280 ft. then descended will say 4780 ft (because he did not get to runway elevation) then a few hundred feet along the runway at the end (can't tell how much) so the plane traveled an estimated distance of 11,060 and the car traveled 10,560 ft

Top Gear always has the best races...I'd say this one tops almost all of them. It's good to see Richard Hammond is back driving...the last time he played with a jet engine, it nearly killed him.
