Ok. So we've done ugly planes. What planes do y'all find attractive? I personally am fond of the 727 and L10-11.

I'm noticing a trend. With the exception of the first two, they are all tail wheels. And they all make me go Oooooo

I have to admit, that I'm also a lover of classic taildraggers.

Honestly, not entirely sure. Never been in either of them so I can't say.

The super connie is much bigger, and has 4350's, and carries 99 pax, the connie has P&W 2800's and only carries 65 seats.

The Spitfire:

Which is, of course, another taildragger.

Or anything that takes one fishing or camping:

That one is a taildragger too, when it's not on floats.

Going out to that area to fish this summer.

1049 Super G! Look at the floating brake discs on one of those and then check out the R3350s with PRTs...that's some seriously cool stuff!

Yup, I loved going to the airshow in Kansas City every year, to see the Super Connie. Such a neat looking airplane. Hopefully, they get the thing up and flying here shortly, since the museum finally got the L1011 deal worked out, and the airplane is now at MKC.
