I got my renewal in the mail yesterday for my plane. No increase in premiums this year!! yeah!

Same coverage and same cost as last year. I figured I would be seeing an increase due to the market declines, but alas, I was gladly wrong.

The insurance for our club aircraft actually went down, the broker suggested a couple of value increases that actually put us over a "breakpoint" that lowered the total premium. They also offered to increase the value on our Pawnee based on "observed market value", without having to get an appraisal.

Our premium actually went down a bit Scott. We were prepared for a small increase due to market conditions. Seems there's a bit more competition this year which helped. One new carrier was less. Big company, but we didn't know what their claims experience might be like and didn't want to be among the first to find out.
