I have reported here on several egregiously bad car rental experiences in the past.
So to be fair, I must report on a good one.
Last month in El Paso (KELP) I had a really good car rental at Enterprise in the terminal.
I booked online, they recognized me when I showed up with my confirmation number.
The price on the agreement was exactly as I had printed out from their website.
The car was presented quickly, was clean and full of gas, in good condition.
All the staff was exceedingly helpful and friendly, they actually seemed, um joyful - it was a treat to not deal with 'attitudinal' employees.
Upon checkout, the inspection and paperwork was speedy and problem-free.
No change to the price. No 'you came back too early charges', no 'this scratch was not here before', no bogus cleaning fees, no 'it is a cup of gas short so we charged you $10'.
Yay, Enterprise El Paso.
