This one was at Boeing Field, Seattle, in 1998. The facts, as related in the NTSB report, are curious:
A few years earlier a C-172P found itself in the wires short of the runway at Ontario CA -- at night. The two lucky occupants were unharmed.

There was another in LA where 2 gentlemen were rescued after 4 hrs. The pilot had actually thought they were on the ground and tried to get out when his buddy brought his arse back in
