The original "I don't know it all" of aviation.
"Regular" users can only delete a post they created. The MC (aka "super users") can delete threads.
A simple way to call their attention to a thread issue is to use the "report" button located at the bottom of the frame of a post.

You can edit the thread that has already been created. It seems as if you have already deleted what you wrote before, so you know how to use the edit function.
