It's going to be a bad fire season in AK too. I was told to expect to be out of base doing OAS fire charters for the duration of the summer.

I have been in Juneau for 35 days, and it has rained 30 of those days....

I hated flying for OAS....not the flying, but the being away from home part and less than sparse sleeping arrangements.

One may have to reroute around the smoke/fires. No plans myself but it was fun years ago when we did the trip, YMM was one of the stops.
