Going on Holiday

We have just finalized on the sale of our house - a stressful experience - and are getting ready to build on a beautiful plot that we have bought. To celebrate we decided that we would go away for a few days. I got on the internet this morning and found a deal on a resort at South Padre Island in Texas so on monday we depart. First day will be about 6.5 hours to El Paso, a meal at the best mexican restaurant this side of the border then on tuesday another 4.5 hours to Brownsville/South Padre International. Temps are predicted in the mid 90's for the week. Lots of iced tequilas should keep us cool. Back via an overnight in Palm Springs. About 20 or so hours in all and a nice time lazing on the beach.
Just posting this to make you all envious!!!

Well, I can't get too envious of someone going to SPI or Brownsville for that matter. But if you were to stop off at Midland I might.
