Was just in Normandy for a battlefield tour....amazing how little some of the areas have changed, and how well the French have preserved some aspects.

Look at the picture of the Packard Merlin, and the odd ways the propeller blades are bent. Engine didn't seem to be rotating...wonder if a damaged plane was shoved into a hole with a bulldozer?
