Only our government could make sense of this. Or my common sense sensor isn't working. They do cash for clunkers on old cars, but make grandiose claims for old jets. Surely the older engines are better for the environment! Look at the attached picture..

I landed one of these on an aircraft carrier after recovering from a inverted flat spin.... well, on my computer anyway. Maybe I should buy it and start a VIP charter company....

It'll cost you more than the current bid price just to get them to unpickle it and move it.

I'm guessing there's no hush kit given that it's a Govt aircraft and they exempt themselves from a lot of rules.

So the aircraft does have the Hush Kit installed. It was going to cost ~$15,000 to have it prepped for flight. I already contacted the FAA about what it would take to get it Certified under the GIII TC... And I get an email this afternoon saying the Navy had an operational need for the aircraft and the asset has been transferred
