GMX200 Question

I'm connecting up a GMX200 to a 300XL for GPS and a Navworx ADS-600-B for traffic in. I'm using ARNIC out of the Navworx to the GMX200. I show traffic on the traffic screen but not on the MAP screen. Does anyone know if the aircraft has to be moving (past the Transition Speed) to show traffic on the MAP screens?

The aircraft does not have to be moving in my installation (GDL-88 outputting GDL-90 protocol on RS-422). I see air & surface traffic while on the ground shortly after the GPS acquires position. However, you must enable the display of Traffic on the GMX-200 Custom Map Menu Option Page 2.
