'When I was at Woodstock...' I was never at Woodstock, and if all the people who claimed they were there actually were, it would have been the largest gathering of people ever assembled. Bye Joe. You were one of the few who stayed true, and did'nt sell out. Feel like Im fixin to die rag. Great song name!

I remember my sister was so mad at our parents for not letting her go to Woodstock. She was 15.

I have only met 1 person that was there. He was 14 and he said they spent most of their time looking for a restroom.

Same here; my sister was 17. It was just up the road, but my mother heard that people there might be (gasp!) smoking marijuana.
 
How times change. There was a time I was proud of that song.
Actually, I still am . That was a different time and a different circumstance.

It doesn't apply today.
 
I was in a crappy garage band when Woodstock was planned. I was also 14 and had my plan to run away all settled. San Diego to Yasgurs farm was only 3000 miles. Hoping the first VW microbus would stop for me. Thwarted by my dad who put me to work in the recap plant. I was in love with Grace. If I had made it,,, she would be mine.
