GI 275 Reversion Backup Switch

Primary ADI, Primary HSI backup ADI.
FSM preflight says to switch the backup switch to on and the back to auto to check the HSI switching to ADI and back to HSI.
On my install the HSI stays on ADI when switch is set back to the auto position.
If I go into the HSI’s display settings I can select ADI, HSI, HSI map. Selecting HSI will revert back to HSI.
Is this just poor documentation or a config issue?

ya, I’ll call my shop Monday but wanted to see if anyone has been down this road.

Probably just forgot to select the discrete for the switch. Have them fix it while you have coffee in the lobby.
