a subcontractor popped a cd in my drive so we could look at a picture.
I gave them the cd back and can still see the picture in Netscape window.

It won't let me save the picture to a file now! "Temp file not available"

But I can seeee the picture, why can't I save it somehow??

Right clicking doesn't help (save image as, send image to)

cant seem to get it onto clipboard to open/save elsewhere (ctrl A, ctrl S)

ideas?

once I shut down the puter, I'm sure its a goner. Maybe its a security issue?

The save as... function will always try to go back to the source to copy the file if nothing has changed in an editor. SOP for windows. Not sure about other OS's (primarily because I've never tried it in various flavors of Linux).
