To the OP I’d also rig the thing for a TOGA button if you’re spending this kind of money

If you have a trim wheel, I have found adjusting the wheel manually smoother and faster than using a china hat type deal

Maybe on a Cessna or similar with its light and large trim wheel. On a Mooney, they are a small, heavy wheel which makes it a bit cumbersome. This is because they’re moving entire tail, not just a small trim/tab piece.

I would probably charge about $15,000 with equipment and installation for a 2-servo GFC500 if you already have the G5 HSI. The trim can be quite time consuming, so usually adds $6-8,000, equipment and installation.
