Get really tired when flying?

I get tired flying too, that is why I always take a nap when I am in cruise.

Sounds like your adrenals are wound up tight.

I agree that Adrenaline can cause you to feel sleepy after a rush of fear and stress and intensity.

When I was a tandem skydiving instructor, some students would almost fall asleep once the parachute was open as the Adrenaline stopped flowing into their bodies and the Endorphins took over.

Once you get more comfortable with flying, it will have a smaller effect in your system.

Snack, eat a snack right before or during a flight. Take a break in the air. Let your instructor fly for five minutes while you eat a snack. Learning to fly is a work out, enjoy.
