Generalized Anxiety Disorder from VA C&P Exam

I think we're saying versions of the same thing. As fellow HIMS AMEs, I think we should discuss this topic privately and provide a joint statement that resolves confusion instead of creating it. The FAA's stance on this is pretty clear. You can reach me at contact@wingmanmed.com.

Also, if you look at the HIMS AME list dated 11-03-2022 you will find both of our names. And you should be able to figure out why you can't find us in any other ways.
Well, weclome aboard, gentlemen.

Would you hit my byline and send me a personal email addy. There's something I want you to look at (We have a multi HIMS AME working group that needs your support)

I apologize in advance for my following comment, but reading battling AME's on a public forum undermines my confidence in the FAA medical process.

You have all of 30 posts and you are already picking an argument. Not a record by any means but close.
What I am hearing is “Hey, just let us step outside and settle this” BBChien is a revered member of the forum.

I did not read any disrespect from either party. Why would you want to push away input from another AME on this site. All relevant information is valuable for POA members…this is a medical forum, not a popularity contest. Of course Dr Chien is a tremendous asset here…does not mean we don’t need more voices.

Ask three doctors, get four opinions. Why would AMEs be different? They're human. Part of the reason why it's important to choose carefully. It would be really nice if the process and outcome were independent of the individuals involved, but that's not reality.

It’s a lot more complicated.

Probably many months of expensive specialist AME evaluations, sleep studies, cog screens, and whatnot. Hopefully our resident AME expert on difficult cases will stop by and give you a more accurate picture.

Maybe a year or two, $10,000 +, and no guarantee of success????
NAILED IT
