General Aviation Donations/Project Funding

I'm in the process of attempting to procure funds from local businesses, pilots and my own pocket, in order to purchase a courtesy car for the airport where I hangar my plane. This made me wonder if any sort of funding is readily available for such things from outside sources like AOPA or EAA...anyone have any experience to share?

Not sure about your state but some set aside grant money for this. Or they'll donate a retired police car or something equally crappy but sufficient.

Probably should let potential contributors know that printed directions to contributing local businesses will be inside the car. Perhaps paint logos on the car too?
