I sure seem to have my share of excitement in front of my house. haha.

This morning a little after 5 I'm sitting in my upstairs office and I hear
a loud crack .. almost like a gunshot. So I went downstairs .. no lights
on .. and quietly opened the front door a little and there's some idiot
with his rear hanging out of the car parked out there on the street.. he'd broken out the window. Well even though I was armed .. I didn't want to spook him and have him escape so I shut the door a little so he couldn't hear and called 911 and gave them a description and told them he was walking casually down my street to the west. There was also a car driving along slowly .. probably his partner in crime.

Anyway .. the cops got him and his buddy. I just talked to the cop on
the phone and he said they recovered quite a bit of stuff.

It's a good thing a high percentage of bad guys are stupid.

Ya did good - and did the right thing...
But, putting a round up his sorry butt would have been more fun <sigh>

Nice job! That's the kind of outcome I like to hear.

Well, played. No imminent danger of life so no need in drawing a bead.

Well .. I did think about shooting him ... with my camera that was laying there.
How would that be for evidence. haha. But didn't want to spook him and have him take off before the cops could get there. Wanted him to think he was
getting away with it.

I must agree shooting him in the butt would have made you feel good.
You did the right thing.

My Diana pellet gun is sighted in better than ever. I don't know if I could have resisted the opportunity. It would have been fun to see whether he jumped back out or all the way inside.

The good news is that the chewing damage to my house and outdoor furnishings has decreased significantly with 20 fewer squirrels in the neighborhood.
