Hey T-Bone,
Did you and your buddy with the Lancair hop up to 4Y4(Lakes of the North) this morning. We were taking off just as the Lanceair was parking.

That was the plane alright, but I wasn't there.... I was invited to go (rear seat) but had to work Sat . That was Tom (builder) with his soon to be new partner (buying half ownership in that gorgeous plane) Carl. Had dinner at the watering hole with Tom Fri. and he invited me, but I had to pass.... maybe next time!

As soon as he arrived, I wondered if that was the same airplane as the one you had posted on the PoA website. Damn if it wasn't! What a small world, eh? I didn't see a pony tail on either the pilot or passenger, though.

Gorgeous airplane, man. Had he been 5 minutes earlier, I would have approached him as I walked by to get into my Commander. As it turned out, I was taking off as Tom was exiting the Lancair. Timming is everything in life.
