Final Approach
There will a Thorpe/T-18 fly-in this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at a private, paved strip three miles south of Gaston’s. The private strip, The Valley (61AR) uses 123.0.
This group of 18 to 25 Thorpe/T-18 owners will be flying around the area all weekend and will be doing some formation flying as well.
Gary Green, Thorpe owner and part-owner of the airstrip has invited us to fly in and visit them this weekend, and some of the Thorpe pilots will be flying over to Gaston’s to visit with us.
It looks like the skies around Gaston’s will be very busy this coming weekend.
