I have some video footage, but it was blowing 340 @ 20g28 ish… created a bunch of sink on final. It was a bit nutty.
Got my first Mooney ride this morning. 3 actual full size humans in a mooney. Crazy.
Made it home. Illinois weather sucks. Added several pebbles to the "experience" bucket thanks to gusty crosswinds. My engine surging issue came back. Finally was able to diagnose it as a magneto issue. Starts to cut out after it's been running for ~1 1/2 hour. Back to the shop...
It was a really fun weekend. Sorry @crash7 couldn't make it. Airport was quite busy sat & sun. Drinking beer at the edge of the runway watching the planes might be my new favorite thing.
Does it expire or will they hold it indefinitely?I’ve got a $108 credit sitting there waiting for me, so one way or another I’ll go there.

I’m mostly through my video footage. I have to say landing KBPK doesn’t look nearly as wild as landing KVIH on my way down. Here’s the moment I went around at Gaston’s on Friday. VSI reading -1100 and I couldn’t really stabilize and didn’t want to get into a situation I couldn’t climb out of.
