I installed this transponder new in March 2019, and removed last week for my Dynon upgrade.
Kit includes:
- GTX335 Transponder. ADSB OUT only (no IN).
- Altitude Encoder
- GA35 waas GPS antenna
- Wiring Harness (power, ground, RS232, “keep alive”)
- Paperwork (registration card, wiring diagram, maintenance manual, 8130s)
What’s not included
- Transponder antenna and cable
- GPS Antenna cable
- Encoder/altimeter matching (you’ll have to take it to an avionics shop for that).
This can be installed by an A&P (unlike the GTX345 IN/OUT that must be dealer installed).
The GPS antenna provides the waas gps source for ADSB reporting. If you have a waas gps with a serial connection, then you won’t need the GA35.
Asking $3000 with free FedEx shipping.
