My plane has GX60 with outdated database since Garmin won't provide updates. But can I install a GTX 330ES and use the GPS from GX60. Or am I going to have to go the route of either a Skybeacon or GTX-335 or GTX-345?

The GX60 is not a WAAS GPS, you cannot use it for ADS-B position source.
