Has anyone ever experienced a radio where it constantly goes in and out of squelch and you can see the RX flashing on and off? It's like the squelch is too sensitive and distance comms are breaking it. You switch to another channel, and it stops.
We had a shop put it on the bench and adjust it down a bit. Forgive my horrible details, but the radio apparently has 3 ranges or channels perhaps? A low, mid, and high. They said we can try to tune it down once more if we want. Just seems odd. Otherwise, the radio works fine and is crystal clear.
