For those of you who have FIKI approved airplanes (@gsengle I'm looking at you), the Garmin G5 is now approved for FIKI airplanes:

I believe that it was the G5's FIKI limitation that kept the GFC 500 from being installed on FIKI airplanes as well, but not sure.
Not sure whether this is going to allow G3X Touch on FIKI certified airplanes or not either. But, it's a step in the right direction anyway.
