Mistake Not...
This might be a well known fix, but it was new to me and it saved me a trip to the avionics shop, sooo...
The course selection pointer in my HSI was off about 10 degrees (select 140, 430 sees 150ish). You can fix this yourself by recalibrating it in the set up screens:
