Garmin 430w nav data card

I recently bought 430w and the navdata card that came with it is jeppesen. The card reader i bought is for garmin. Does anyone have a garmin card for one of these that you would sell or trade for a jepp card?

The jepp orange card will work in the garmin card reader. The garmin card reader only downloads garmin data.

It doesn't matter how the nav card is branded. Just don't try to swap the nav card and the terrain/obstacles card. The W cards are either silver (no longer made) or orange label.

I'll try again later tonight. On my first attempt, the Garmin download software said it was the wrong card. I then read jeppesen on it and assumed it wouldn't work.

You have the data card correct and NOT the terrain card?

I have one of each but was attempting to use data card earlier. Attempt #2 coming up shortly.

Keep your terrain and data cards separate. They are not interchangeable. The data card goes in the left slot of the 430W, the terrain card in the right slot. The data card should say Navdata somewhere on the label.
