Gamers being considered for ATC job openings?

I doubt gamers would like the hours and stress.

'Gamers' are not a monolith. Without getting into the unbearable pedantry surrounding the term, there are communities doing anything and everything. There are people who try to set records beating (specific) games faster than everyone else. There are people who spend thousands of dollars to simulate flying warbirds (everything from biplanes to supersonic jets) against each other. There are people who will pretend to be ATC in flight sims for hours at a time. There are people that try to complete 'No-Death' runs of difficult games. There are people who try 'No-Hit' runs of very difficult games. There are people who try to complete violent games as pacifists. There are people who play nothing but competitive online games. There are people who play nothing but offline single-player games.

This isn't the first time they've done this. If the strategy worked I would think we wouldn't still have a shortage :dunno:
