Hi,

pursuant to my email of last week, more tests revealed the pain came from gall stones. there was a kink in the bowel, but, that apparently has unkinked and she said the pain is gone (was gone, pretty quickly actually).

not sure what's next - size, what they are going to do, etc.

can she travel? by car, by plane? they have a wedding in Santa Fe to go to in 2 weeks...

thanks Dr. Bruce!

She'll need to electively have the gallbladder removed, laparoscopically, as the consequences of a stone problem (think, severely deathy ill) are less terrible than an elective 30 minute procedure.

If you're a senior, you view travelling to family events as one of the prime events that you really MUST do. So, of course she will travel by 141 carrier....but she needs to be careful about what she eats as SOMETIMES on precipitates a Gallbladder attack with an indiscretion.

Sigh.
