GA alive and well in the BA

That looks promising. I hope it continues.

If it does, I bet those tech gurus start to make innovations in design and performance that improve the general state of general aviation.

I read that article and initially though that it was a great positive profile for GA and younger pilots getting involved.

By the end, I thought that it makes it sound like you have to be a well paid high tech worker or better to even think about being able to afford getting into GA.

I kind of thought the same thing, but still it is a good thing to see younger folks overcoming the stigma of the dangers of "those little planes", and seeing the benefits of GA. Maybe it is the start of it being cool to thumb your nose at the nanny state, and the feminized obsession with absolute safety. Maybe quality of life is starting to make a come back?

It's not untrue.

It's true that I sure do see a whole lot of young Google engineers around PAO.

The airspace still isn't very crowded, as you have to, you know, have time off for that sort of thing. And PAO still has a lot of derelict aircraft.
