G5 with IFD 440

Hi all,

I have a G430W I am considering replacing with an Avidyne IFD 440. Does anyone have this setup? Are/were there any issues in interfacing the 440 with the G5 AI or HSI version?

I have the IFD 540 and dual G5. No issues at all.

Like TommyG I Have an IFD540 and a G5. Not only do I not have any issues but I love them. Getting a 2nd G5 for the DG and a GFC500 in November.

I have an STEC 50 that came with the plane. Works great with the system. Not as good as the GFC 500, but gives me the GPSS. I can also transfer flight plans from Foreflight to the Avidyne without needing to buy the flight stream.
