Prior to the recent installation of dual G5s, when the AP was engaged it would intercept the desired course at a 45° angle. It made no difference if the CDI was tracking a VOR or GPS signal. The 45° angle is correct per the Century documentation.
Since the G5s' installation, the intercept angle is approximately 37°. The radio coupler has been adjusted per the Century documentation. Regardless of several adjustments, the intercept angle remains at approximately 37°.
