Been reading about this display, so I go to learn about it by seeing what ASSCo has available.
    88 hits on G3X.

Does someone want to explain, in Grade 4 terms for me, what all the additional items are and how they fit in with the device's functions?
Please avoid TL/DRs. For my avionics comprehension level, an example of what is needed would be:
G3X is a dumb display which gets input from
    XXX accelerometer/e-gyro for AI
YYY air data inputs for ASI, VIS, ALT etc
    ZZZ for autopilot control

    Thanks

The GEA-24 is the box the engine sensors feed.
The GMU -11 or GMU 22 is the magnetometer.
The GSU-25 is the ADHARS (the brain box for attitude, velocity, etc).
The GMC 305 or 307 control the autopilot.
The GSA 28's are the autopilot servos.
The G3X is a dumb display.

Here's Garmin's brochure which is a good synopsis:

Should note the 305 and 307 are optional. You can control the AP with just the G3X.

You can control the AP directly using the G3X Touch displays, but either the 305 or the 307 is required when using the older and less expensive non-touch G3X displays (GDU 370, GDU 375).
