G100UL STC

Anyone have any news on the cost of the STC?

I am in the process of collecting signatures (not a petition) of local pilots who will support the KHCR FBO switching over to G100UL as soon as it is available. The FBO asked for a show of support, the easy part is the upside of the UL fuel and the cost benefits of having no lead in the engine. The tough sell might be to the certified folks if the STC is cost prohibitive in their eyes.

So far I have spoken to quite a few experimental guys (no STC required) and they are all for it even with the increased cost per gallon.

The GAMI website is not currently showing anything on the cost of the STC, any news I have missed?

Tim roehl from gami posted this a year or so ago on another forum.

"Like other alternative fuels STCs (i.e. mogas) that have been around for some time, we anticipate the cost of the STCs to be based upon HP and in the same range, i.e. $200-$400 for most single engine aircraft."

There is an stc out for UL 94 and if you purchase it they will upgrade it to 100ul when available. The cost for the ul94 is around 150 dollars
