Gratz on the Transamerica coverage w/o GA exclusion .. different underwriters within the same company will process the same parameters differently. Some will leave the aviation exclusion out, most will include it. Along with other riskier hobbies.
So much goes into an accurate, least-cost term life insurance quote. Different companies focus on different areas, and those areas change often. So, the best price can change from one company to another, within the company or within the products that the other companies offer.
Short list of what makes a difference: medical condition of course
Total time, different time bands appeal to different carriers
time in each aircraft time last year time next year
IFR? How long IFR? Which aircraft? Any for hire? Helicopter time? Instructor? ATP with GA?
If you are not being asked all these questions and then some, you may be leaving some coin on the tarmac.
