Fun day at the beach

I guees that should read fun day at the shore since it was New jersey.

Mary and I decided to take advanatge of the sunny day and no winds. We headed out for brunch (KGED) and then across the Delaware Bay to Cape May, NJ (KWWD). It was nice to knock the rust off. I put three landings and 2.3 hours in the book.

Uh Gary excuse me but don'tcha mean 'DOWN the shore' ! Looks like a good flight. BTW how much was the rental car at WWD and how were the winds there yesterday?

That's correct..."down the shore". At least I didn't sing on the way to cape may....

Mary and I thought about putting a fishing trip together for those who want to fly into Cape May. We go out once or twice a year with friends when the tuna is hitting for a day trip, may have to work on that plan.

Rental car was @ $58 for the day no mileage fee...for a ford standard size vehicle, bring it back full. I think it took 1.8 gallons when I hit the service station to top off. The price was high for the few hours we needed the car but for an all day rate I guess it would be ok.
