I've got a Samsung Q1 for sale. The unit itself works, but needs a cooling fan. There's some sort of board that it's on. I forget the details, but the thing overheats and freezes up quickly.

The big positive with it is that it has AnywhereMap with a lifetime subscription to the approach plates. So that's free approach plates for life. It also comes with a mount. I used it in the Aztec very well.

This has now been replaced with an iPad and Foreflight.

Make an offer. Chances are I'll take it.

Bump.

Should I just trash the thing?

I "retired" my Q1U soon after getting my first ipad.

On another note, it was easy to get repair parts and I did replace the screen after it attempted a suicide leap to the hangar floor. Working on it was just about the same as working on a laptop - everything had to be just so to go back together...

Yeah, it seems like a shame to just trash it, but that might be the way to go. I have no desire to do any more repairs - I have enough other things to do that are better uses of my time.
