Hi everyone. Just a quick reminder that Dana and I will be hosting our second FREE GROUND SCHOOL session this coming Tuesday, November 19 from 6-8 pm. The class will be held at our office at Jacksonville Executive / Craig Airport (at Craig Air Center, Suite 3E). Refreshments will be provided.
The topic for this week's session is Radio Communications at Towered and Non-Towered Airports. As experienced CFIs, we know that many students struggle with "mike fright." The goal of this session is to help you understand and interpret what's being said on the radio, so that you can be more confident and effective when communicating with other pilots and with ATC. We'll present a few examples of both effective and ineffective communications, both by pilots and by ATC, and then do a bit of role playing with the group.
