I don't know if all Aeroshell distributors have this special running but...

I was in Springfield MO late last week and I picked up two cases of Aeroshell oil at Oakland Lubrication in Nixa. They typically have the best prices around so when I'm down there I'll stop by.

As the lady hands me my receipt she also hands me a "Flight Jacket" aircraft cleaning kit just like this one and says "Merry Christmas from Aeroshell".

Hmmm...I spent $130 and got a $90 present. It's hard to beat that one. Helluvadeal! I love it surprises like this.

Those of you who run Aeroshell might check with your local distributor to see if they're running this special.

Sales must be slow on the cleaning kit, what better way to get your product out to the masses.

Yeah, I guarantee you I would've never purchased one at that price. There's a lot cheaper stuff out there that performs nicely. Next year this time, I'll let you know if I've been impressed or not.

And I'm in springfield nearly a year later visiting family and friends, picked up three more cases of aeroshell, and they're still giving away "flight jacket" aircraft cleaning kits.

I guess I need to start using the first one, eh? ;)

I've used the Aeroshell cleaning products and really, really like them. I'd jump on that but my hangar is already full of bottles of oil.

The only thing I've used out of the kit from last year is the "touch and go" to clean bugs off of the leading edges. It did a nice job...water works just fine on my plane though since I keep a pretty good coat of wax on it.

:dunno:

Guess I need to start using it or give today's away to a pilot buddy...

I know what you mean, but I like the touch and go stuff for the cooked on bugs. It is the only stuff besides water that I've found won't eat through wax.
